Job Description & Requirements

Telemetry Nurse

The MIU provides services to adult, acutely ill patients experiencing the following: Respiratory Failure, Trach Management, Sepsis, COPD Exacerbation, Liver and Renal Failure, DKA, GI Bleed, CHF, Sickle Cell Anemia Registered nurses provide care in conjunction with the care partner and medical team. The unit has two charge nurses without patient assignment. Skills that will be utilized are continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound care, arterial lines, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, mechanical ventilation, continuous cardiac monitoring, and various continuous intravenous drips.

Required Qualifications

BLS, ACLS 1.5 Yrs Experience in specialty

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with general med surge or telemetry experience will be considered. Telemetry, intravenous drip, chest tubes, wound management, non-invasive ventilator experience extremely recommended.
