   How's how our Refer-a-Friend program works:
 
  • Travel with us, meet new colleagues, make new friends and have fun!
  • Refer an RN using this online form, or your referrals can give your name when they apply.
  • We’ll notify you about the eligibility status of your referral (see Program Rules).
  • Once your referral completes a full 6-week (or longer) assignment with us, you’ll be eligible to earn $500 - $1,500, depending on specialty!

Referral Bonus Payouts By Specialty:

  • $1,500: CVICU, CVOR, LD, NICU, OR, PACU, PEDI, PEDI ER, PICU, Ambulatory OR, First Assist, Ambulatory PACU
  • $1,000: Cath Lab, DIAL, ER, ICU, PCU
  • $500: All other RN specialties

Program Rules and Eligibility Requirements (effective September 20, 2010)
  • Only current or previous travelers with NurseChoice can participate in the referral bonus program. Any RN who has completed at least one assignment with NurseChoice (or has worked at least one day of a current assignment) is eligible to receive referral bonuses.
  • In a case of "reciprocal referring" (two new candidates applying and referring each other), only one referral bonus will be paid, to be split between the travelers.
  • Referrals can be submitted by you using our online form, or by a new traveler who identifies you as their referrer when applying. The name and contact information for both you and your referral needs to be included on the application or referral form.
  • To be eligible for the referral bonus, the referred candidate must be a new contact for NurseChoice (i.e. not already in NurseChoice's traveler database).
  • Time limits extended! Your referred RN must start within 120 days of the application date associated with that referral.
  • Assignments in any RN specialty qualify for the referral bonus program, with multiple tiered amounts per specialty group: $1500 (CVICU, CVOR, LD, NICU, OR, PACU, PEDI, PEDI ER, PICU, Ambulatory OR, First Assist, Ambulatory PACU), $1,000 (Cath Lab, Dialysis, ER, ICU, PCU), $500 (all other RN specialties).
  • You will earn a bonus for each eligible Registered Nurse (RN) you refer that completes a full assignment contract with NurseChoice. A full assignment requires compliance with all contract requirements, completion of the assignment length specified at the time of booking, and a minimum of six weeks worked; 216 hours minimum based on 36 hour workweek/240 for a 40 work week/288 for a 48 hour work week for referral bonus to be paid.  If RN booked original assignment for 13 weeks then 13 weeks must be complete prior to payout.  Referrals must make up lost time on the next assignment after which the Referrer will be paid their bonus.   
  • If you qualify to receive a referral bonus while you are on assignment with NurseChoice, you will receive your bonus automatically through your current payroll. If you qualify for the bonus but are not on an assignment at that time, you will be contacted by your recruiter to confirm your address before your referral bonus payment is mailed. Any outstanding accounts receivable balances must be resolved before bonus payment is made.
